Gish Chacko has been a pivotal figure at MAA ENT since 2019, where he serves as the Head of the Speech and Audiology Departments and the Vice Principal for the BASLP program at the MAA Institute of Speech and Hearing. With extensive experience in speech-language pathology, Gish has contributed significantly to the assessment and management of communication disorders in both children and adults. He has been instrumental in the development and management of a holistic approach to treating neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
An accomplished researcher, Gish has authored over 15 national and international publications and has been an active speaker at various conferences across India, sharing his knowledge and insights. His clinical expertise is further complemented by his credentials in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, which he uses to address a wide range of speech and voice disorders.
Gish is particularly passionate about the growing challenges posed by ASD. With the exponential increase in ASD cases, he is dedicated to improving diagnostic accuracy, treatment outcomes, and providing comprehensive support to individuals with ASD. His mission is to help these individuals overcome barriers in educational and societal contexts, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.
